About Village Dental Care

Dr Justin Tan opened Village Dental Care in 1999, taking over an existing dental practice that had served Bowral and the Southern Highlands for several decades. We see children and adults, delivering optimal dental treatment to our patients in an honest, ethical manner.

Sedation dentistry

Dr Tan is certified by the Dental Board of Australia to administer intravenous sedation. He has a postgraduate degree in Conscious Sedation and Pain Control from the University of Sydney, a mandatory 2 year post graduate qualification for the practice of intravenous sedation in dentistry. Sedation dentistry will make your appointment seem like minutes. Implant dentistry

Dr Tan has built the practice with a special focus on the placement and restoration of dental implants. He has a postgraduate degree in dental implantology from Charles Sturt University. Having practiced implant dentistry for more than a decade, he is well placed to advise his patients of all treatment options in regards to dental implants. He has studied with the leading dental educators in Australia and overseas. Dr Tan is also experienced in the All-On-4 technique and other methods of full mouth reconstruction with dental implants.

Microscope-Assisted Dentistry

The use of advanced techniques and equipment is one of the many ways we provide you with high-quality oral care. Dr Tan practices microscope-assisted dentistry, which enables a precise diagnosis and the creation of an effective treatment plan. You can watch the procedure via a live feed on the ceiling and receive images that allow you to understand your dental health and how we help you.
